Publication of Laura's first book - Learn to Paint Abstracts, in the popular Collins series, was well reviewed. It came a very close second in a poll for best art instruction book published between January 2005 and March 2006 Click here for full details of the book. It is now in its second printing! And as a result of its success to be re-launched in June 2008

May 2005

A chapter on Laura's work appears in a Collins reference book by Jackie Simmonds, Watercolour Innovations, published May 2005.

Laura's work was shown at art fairs, exhibitions and galleries both in London and elsewhere.

A further prize was added to her list - Artist magazine prize at the RWS Open Exhibition, July 2005 at Bankside Gallery, London.

Laura's year was punctuated by a series of firsts -

European Art Holiday– April 2004

Laura’s teaching experience came into its own as she embarked on a new venture – leading a group on an art holiday in the southern Tarn region of France.

Despite problems with the weather the group had an enjoyable week, plenty of excellent work to take home as well as gaining afew pounds from the wonderful food served by the residents hosts.Recently Laura has decided to embark on a series of art holidays starting in October 2008. Details to appear on the website in due course.
